Sylvan Esso is comprised of the siren Amelia Meath, and electronic soundsmith Nick Sanborn. Together they’ve crafted a unique pop-electronic sound - they’ll make you dance, then they’ll make you cry, then they’ll make you dance again. They offer a rare catharsis on the pop landscape. Their debut album in 2014 was met with critical acclaim, and drove their rise onto the national main stage.
In the wake of their second record “What Now,” Sylvan Esso set out on a marathon national tour in the summer of 2018. Sylvan Esso and their management team worked with Limbo to craft an identity for this tour, along with a digital presence that would be the portal for ticket sales. This tour would include announcements for unique musical guests at each tour stop, that included the likes of David Byrne, Kamasi Washington, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and many others. Using illustrations and handwriting by friend of the band Alexandra Sauser-Monnig (Daughter of Swords, Mountain Man), Limbo designed a tour identity and website portal, that included the a custom typeface of Alexandra’s handwriting, and drove ticket sales for a tour that would eventually sell out massive amphitheater venues across the nation.
